Jack is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 7  years of experience as a counselor and 25 in allied careers of adventure-based personal and corporate leadership development.   He works with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, transitions, and the creation of desired change.    He believes that clients have untapped wells of resilience and the desire to grow. A basic task of therapy is to guide and support clients’ efforts to  recognize and reconnect to these strengths and use them to build the life they long for. 

Jack has training and experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment therapy.  He draws from person and emotion centered, narrative, cognitive-behavioral, dialectic, mindfulness and motivational approaches.  Jack is focused on co-creating a positive, supportive and, above all, helpful therapeutic relationship that serves healing and movement toward your goals.
