WellSpace Clinician (She/Her)

As a couples, family and individual therapist, Gretchen is a big believer in everyone having their own story to tell and life experiences to share. Gretchen shares the space in an authentic, genuine and non-judgemental way. This allows the natural process of awareness to unfold in sessions and provide tools and coping skills that aide in healing. Gretchen provides therapy to couples, older teens, families and adults. Gretchen supports couples and individuals with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma and parenting concerns.

Gretchen’s focus is humanistic in nature and has experience in Emotional Focused Therapy, Experiential “ here and now”, Internal Family Systems(IFS) along with Motivational Interviewing and some work in somatic body awareness. Gretchen specializes in couple struggles; utilizing EFT and awareness therapy to help increase client self-awareness of thoughts and behaviors. Gretchen also works with adults and older teens who are experiencing anxiety, depression and life transitions in a holistic approach, incorporating the whole person, exploring through IFS.

Gretchen has helped couples work through being ”stuck” in their relationships and navigated the balance of parenting as well as finding oneself in a relationship. Gretchen also has worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions.

Her approach is sharing space with you to build an authentic, genuine and honest relationship that fosters collaboration in seeking self-awareness and healing from where you started. Gretchen is Humanistic in her approach; acknowledging how the past is woven into one’s life, but also walking together with the person in realizing their full potential in positive growth.

Gretchen meets people where they are on their journey, providing space to experience the “here and now”.
