Ava offers therapy to adults and elders. She has experience working with individuals navigating grief, anxiety, depression, stress management, complex health issues, and major life transitions. She aims to support clients as they work through challenges, develop coping skills, explore questions around identity and/or relationships, navigate new life circumstances, and move towards improved wellbeing. Her approach is collaborative and guided by curiosity and empathy.

Ava did her clinical internship in geriatric psychiatry social work at Maine Health. Her generalist internship was with asylum seekers at Hope Acts. Prior, she worked with survivors of domestic violence, in arts and community garden nonprofits, and in outdoor education.
