Emily Cleveland, LCPC-CC
WellSpace Clinician (She/Her)
Emily believes that meaningful therapy begins with a genuine, trusting relationship. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages feel safe to explore their experiences, deepen self-understanding, and move toward lasting change.
Emily works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults, with a growing focus on adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, and grief. She particularly enjoys helping clients better understand how their minds work, develop practical strategies that complement their strengths, and cultivate greater self-compassion rather than self criticism.
Her approach is primarily person-centered and mindfulness-based, recognizing that each individual brings unique strengths, challenges, and goals to therapy. Emily integrates evidence based behavioral approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while drawing from psychoeducation, creative interventions, nature based practices, and expressive therapies when they best support each client’s needs. She believes therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and grounded in authenticity.
In addition to her work with adults, Emily continues to enjoy supporting children, teens, and their families. She has experience helping young people navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, body image challenges, grief, and the effects of trauma. She also partners with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, build healthy relationships, and foster positive, effective parenting strategies.
Emily’s goal is to help clients develop greater insight, resilience, and confidence so they can navigate life’s challenges with intention and carry the skills they learn in therapy into their everyday lives.
