Lauren is a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for enhancing the social-emotional well-being of adolescents and young adults. Lauren specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults who are managing anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and life transitions. She also has experience working therapeutically with LGBTQ+ youth and providing gender affirming care.
Lauren’s approach focuses on helping adolescents feel seen, heard, and safe when sharing their stories with her. Lauren has a background and training in working therapeutically with children and their families in community and home-based settings, utilizing Motivational Interviewing, ARC, and TouchPoints modalities. She draws from relational, psychodynamic, and attachment-based theories and integrates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness interventions to support her therapeutic work.
Lauren practices with a trauma-informed lens that centers your voice and choice around treatment goals. She uses warmth, collaboration, and humor to build a working therapeutic relationship to explore your needs and work towards growth and empowerment in your life.
