Talk About It: Reach out to someone you trust to discuss your feelings. Sharing your emotions can provide much-needed support and reassurance.
Strive for Balance: Find a balance between acknowledging the event and focusing on meaningful and comforting aspects of life.
Turn Off and Take a Break: Limit exposure to distressing information. Take regular breaks to protect your mental well-being.
Honor Your Feelings: Understand that it's normal to experience a range of emotions. Be mindful of physical signs of stress, such as exhaustion and soreness.
Self-Care: Prioritize your well-being. Eat nutritious meals, get sufficient rest, stay hydrated, and practice breathing exercises.
Help Others and Stay Productive: Engage in tasks and help others where possible. Being productive can provide a sense of purpose and alleviate distress.
