Lucky Coster

WellSpace Clinician

Lucky provides therapy to adults navigating grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, sex and relationships, identity, spirituality, life transitions, addiction and recovery, chronic illness, and questions of meaning and purpose. They welcome clients from all walks of life, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as those whose experiences may not fit traditional ideas about mental health, relationships, or family.

Lucky’s background spans mental health counseling, domestic violence advocacy, relationship research, community outreach, harm reduction, movement, and whole-body health. Before becoming a therapist, they worked as a domestic violence advocate and in relationship research and community-based harm reduction.

Their clinical interests include grief counseling, existential psychotherapy, attachment, trauma-informed care, addiction and recovery, sexuality, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, men's mental health, and life transitions.

Lucky is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, which informs their holistic approach to whole-body health and wellbeing.

Lucky practices existential psychotherapy through a holistic, person-centered, and cultural-relational lens, informed by attachment theory and feminist and liberation-oriented perspectives. They explore how early relationships, lived experiences, culture, and social expectations shape how we understand ourselves and connect with others.

Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, Lucky helps clients explore deeper questions of identity, meaning, relationships, and how they want to live, particularly during periods of change and loss.

They have a particular interest in relational patterns and men's mental health, and enjoy working with men navigating relationships, vulnerability, emotional expression, identity, masculinity, and societal expectations. Their goal is to create space for these experiences to be explored openly and without judgment.

Above all, Lucky approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, authenticity, and respect. They strive to create a space where clients can better understand themselves, explore difficult questions, and build lives that feel meaningful and authentically their own.
