Noa is a relational therapist, blending client-led, person-centered, and strengths-based approaches in her work. She believes in building a therapeutic relationship that is safe and trustworthy, meeting each of her clients where they are. Noa works to understand each client holistically as they are informed by culture, relationships, systems, and experiences. She provides therapy to adults and teens, and has a background in trauma-informed care, supporting perinatal and postpartum parents, eco-therapy, working with LGBTQIA+ population, and crisis work at the Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine. Noa specializes in integrating expressive arts therapy with traditional psychotherapy practices drawing from psychodynamic approaches. Noa has helped clients facing anxiety, relationship and family issues, life transitions, grief, and identity development.
Noa has a warm, collaborative style with a focus on the therapeutic relationship. She approaches issues with compassion and curiosity, and is passionate about using artistic expression to explore and identify parts of one’s self. She believes we all have an innate wisdom that can be our greatest tool. Working with Noa will encompass an invitation to understand and connect with these parts through creative exploration.
