Stephen Bennett, LCPC-C
WellSpace Clinician
Stephen believes that meaningful change begins with developing a deeper awareness of our emotions, experiences, and the ways we view ourselves and the world around us. He aims to create a space where your goals and personal growth remain at the center of the work.
His approach to counseling is holistic, parts-oriented, and tailored to your needs. Stephen frequently integrates elements of Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and attention to what emerges in the present moment. Through a collaborative process, Stephen works with you to gain new perspectives on challenges, develop skills for navigating life’s difficulties, and cultivate a greater sense of resilience and hope for the future.
Stephen has experience working with adolescents and adults navigating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism, substance use, gender identity and sexuality, and life transitions. His work emphasizes the impact of interpersonal relationships and how our experiences with others shape our sense of self, inner parts, and the ways we connect with ourselves and the world around us.
